What you need to know before booking

Scope of Practice

The bodywork you receive from me is designed to deepen your connection with yourself through pain reduction, stress relief, muscle tension release, and increased circulation.

I do not diagnose or prescribe medical treatment or pharmaceuticals. Spinal and neurological manipulations are not part of my practice. If you have a medical condition, please consult with your healthcare provider before booking bodywork.

Your privacy is sacred. All client information is kept strictly confidential unless disclosure is required by law or court order. Your written consent will be obtained before any information is released to a healthcare provider.

  • Rescheduling: Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule your appointment.
  • Cancellations: Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged 50% of your session price.
  • Life Happens: I’m human, and I recognize that emergencies and illness happen. If something unexpected comes up, please reach out and let me know. Emergency and illness cancellations will be waived at my discretion.
  • Slot Filled = No Charge: If I’m able to fill your appointment slot, you will not be charged for the cancellation.

All sessions are expected to begin and end at the scheduled times. There’s a 5-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time.

Regardless of session length, you’ll be required to pay the full amount of the service you booked.

If 15 minutes pass from your scheduled start time and I haven’t heard from you, your appointment will be considered a no-call, no-show. You’ll be charged the full price of the session.

After two no-call, no-shows, I will terminate the client-therapist relationship. Please respect my time and work.

  • Before We Begin: Before every session, we’ll discuss your comfort level with more sensitive areas of the body and any areas that may be uncomfortable to work on.
  • During the Session: I’m committed to open communication throughout. If something doesn’t feel right, you need an adjustment, you need to pause, or you have a question—please tell me immediately.
  • You Can Always Change Your Mind: You can revoke consent to any area being touched at any point during your session. Your comfort and safety are the priority.

I’ve dedicated my practice to being affirming and safe for all people with all bodies. I expect the same respect back from my clients.

This studio is an affirming space for all BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ individuals, disabled persons, kinksters, and sex workers.

Zero Tolerance Policy: This practice has zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, inappropriate touching of my person, sexual or physical advances, disregard for my consent or boundaries, or bigoted behavior of any kind, whether direct or passive.

Any behavior that falls within these categories will result in immediate and permanent termination of the session and client-therapist relationship, with no refunds given.

  • Studio Location: My studio is located on the third floor and requires walking up three flights of stairs. There is ample street parking available.
  • Accessibility Accommodations: I work to make my practice as accessible as possible. If you have accessibility limitations, please reach out. I offer a limited number of in-home sessions where I come to you. These slots are prioritized for those who need them.
  • Equipment: My studio is equipped with table extenders, larger tables, and other accommodations that allow bodies of all sizes to find comfort.

Your safety and comfort are priorities. My studio is cleaned and sanitized before and after each session. All sheets are washed after every use, and an air filter runs continuously throughout the space.

Masks are not required, but I encourage taking illness-related precautions before your session. I’m happy to wear a mask during all sessions upon request—just let me know ahead of time.

All clients under 18 must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian to all sessions. The parent/guardian may be required to stay in the room for the duration of the session. A separate waiver form must be signed by the legal parent/guardian.

All clients are required to prepay or pay directly after sessions, whether booking online or via phone/email. New clients must fill out an intake form before their first session. You’ll receive a digital receipt after payment is processed.

I reserve the right to refuse or terminate any client-therapist relationship at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Non-compliance with studio policies
  • Intoxication
  • Contagious or unidentified skin conditions
  • Illness or infectious conditions
  • Derogatory or bigoted comments at any time
